Since it’s launch in October 2012, the Proroute H820 router has quickly established itself as our best selling 4G router.  In fact, we sell ten times as many Proroute 4G Routers as any other brand.

This is a reliable and robust, industrial grade 4G router that uses the Sierra Wireless MC7710 LTE 4G module that is found in many other manufacturers 4G routers.  This high speed LTE module offers high speed 4G connectivity with up to 100Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed.

The router itself uses the tried and tested technology from the longstanding 3G version of the H820 which means that you are buying a tried and tested technology with the new high speed connectivity via the Sierra Wireless module.

Embedded 4G router

This is an embedded 4G router which means that you insert your 4G SIM card directly into the router.  This means there are no compatibility issues with 4G USB modems and it also means that the router has proper cellular antenna connectors so you can easily connect high gain 4G antennas to improve 4G signal reception in more rural locations or when the router is installed inside a building and would benefit from a high gain external 4G antenna to deliver the better outdoor signal to the router.

The Proroute H820 offers connectivity via 4 x 10/100 Ethernet ports for wired LAN connection and also includes Wireless Hotspot connection with 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

This router is ideal to connect your office to the new high speed 4G networks in the UK and is not locked so you can use a 4G SIM card from any of the 4G networks in the UK.  If you don’t have 4G in your area yet, don’t worry, the Proroute H820 4G Router is backwards compatible with 3G services and if 4g is not available it will automatically drop down to 3G including DC-HSPA+ which is the new high speed 3G service offered by some providers.  In fact, the H820 will even use 2G Edge/GPRS if 4G and 3G is not available.
