Panasonic have branded the KX-NCP as their Pure-IP PBX, but don't let this description put you off if you wanted something a little simpler, or wanted a phone system that would easily integrate into your existing communications infrastructure..
The Panasonic KXNCP can work with all types of technology for lines and extensions. This means that you can connect standard analogue telephone lines, ISDN2e lines, ISDN30e lines and SIP Trunks (Voice Over IP Telephone Lines).
The same is true of the extensions, you can have standard analogue telephones and fax machines, proprietary digital system phones, Proprietary IP Phones and you can even have standard SIP based IP Phones, the Panasonic KX-NCP will work with just about anything.
The Standard KXNCP Phone Systems are available in two versions, the KX-NCP500 and the KX-NCP1000 with the main difference being the chassis size which determines the number of cards that can be installed.
The Business Editions versions of the KXNCP500 system provide a great value entry level business phone system with the main difference being the restriction on the number of extensions available, The KXNCP500V and KXNCP500X can be unlocked by purchasing an unlock key to enable the user to use the maximum number of extensions available on the normal KX-NCP500.
