The Polycom Soundpoint 320 and Soundpoint 330 are Polycom's Entry-level IP phones with excellent sound quality and enterprise-grade features that deliver remarkable value.

The Polycom SoundPoint IP330 and Soundpoint IP320 are entry level two-line SIP phones that deliver superb sound quality as well as a wide range of supported business telephony features. The SoundPoint IP 330 phone, with its dual-port 10/100 Ethernet switch for LAN and PC connection, presents a cost-effective solution for cubicle workers as well as call centre operators who use a "hard" phone in conjunction with a soft client running on the PC. The SoundPoint IP 320 phone has a single 10/100 Ethernet port, therefore its application targets include
common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms, as well as various wall-mounted deployments.

The phones' standard base stand can be reversed to become a wall mount, eliminating the need for a separate accessory. Built-in IEEE 802.3af PoE circuitry and a dual-port Ethernet switch (SoundPoint IP 330 phone only) enable flexible deployment options and savings on cabling expenses. The SoundPoint IP330 and IP320 phones support remote, zero-touch provisioning and upgrade from a variety of servers, including FTP, TFTP, HTTP, or HTTPS. To ensure reliable, uninterrupted performance, the phones support boot and call server redundancy.

Broad Interoperability

The Polycom SoundPoint IP330 and Soundpoint IP320 phones have been tested and certified to deliver comprehensive interoperability and extensive feature support with leading SIP-based call control platforms by BroadSoft, Sylantro, Interactive Intelligence/Vonexus, Digium, and other Polycom Technology and Interoperability Partners2. The phones also interoperate with Microsoft? Live Communications Server (LCS) 2005 for telephony and presence. This broad interoperability offers Polycom customers a choice of supported standards-based call server solutions with which the phones can be deployed.

What is the difference between the SoundPoint IP 320 and the SoundPoint IP 330?

The SoundPoint IP 320 has a single 10/100 Ethernet port, and the SoundPoint IP 330 has dual 10/100 Ethernet ports with a built-in switch, allowing you to use a single network connection for both a PC and the phone. The two models are identical in all other respects.

Important Note: Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 and 330 telephones do not include an AC power supply by default. You will need to use the Soundpoint 320 and Soundpoint 330 VoIP Phones on a POE Switch or purchase a seperate power supply or POE Injector.
