SDSL gives your business the power of Broadband but it works for you in both directions, giving you the same high speed uploads as well as high speed downloading. Unlike Broadband ADSL, the SDSL service enables uploads to process at the same speed as downloads, making it perfect for running your own e-mail server or web services.
SDSL, or 'Synchronous Digital Subscriber Line', empowers you with connectivity and capability of a leased line but at a fraction of the cost. If you are a publisher, firm of solicitors, design agency or anyone who uploads large files as well as downloads them, SDSL will save you time and effort.
Fully Managed
If you want the service without this fuss, we can install a 'Fully Managed' service. We supply a pre-configured SDSL router that connects to a dedicated data port installed by a BT engineer at your site. Connect the router to your network and the benefits of SDSL are available to all.
Wires Only
If you would prefer to install your own equipment, 'Wires Only' is your best choice. A BT engineer will install a dedicated data port on-site, leaving you to provide your preferred SDSL router / firewall solution. If only using a single machine, we can optionally provide a suitable SDSL router at a low cost.
