The Cyclone 200 is aimed at the Small Office or Home Office (SOHO) user. It is ideal for the broadband market specifically and is ideal to fit into scenarios where you may need increased bandwidth to facilitate Virtual Private Networks (VPN) or Voice Over IP (VoIP). It can also be used to provide resilience to your internet connection, by using 2 independent ISP's or even an ISDN backup. It is a full featured router/firewall which also offers enhanced features such as email alerts on link failure and URL/content filtering.
The New Cyclone 800 is an exciting new addition to the Cyclone product range. It offers all the features that can be found other Cyclone products and also offers VPN Load Balancing functionality. Using its embedded IPSEC support, a mesh of VPN tunnels can be established between 2 locations, effectively doubling your VPN bandwidth and protecting against link failure even if one link at each site goes down. Also watch out for the Cyclone 801A which offers in addition in-built ADSL ports!
The Cyclone 1000 is aimed at the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) with around 50 and 100 network users. This is the first product to offer a range of Load Balancing modes that can be used to make the most of the bandwidth available. It also offers Multilink (3 WAN ports) which be used to connect to up to 16 Internet connections with any Ethernet presented medium. The Cyclone will constantly monitor the Internet links and in the case of a failure, will failover to other remaining functioning lines.
The Cyclone 3000 is the flagship product of the Cyclone range. It offers increased throughput to cater for the Corporate Enterprise with many network users and also has many unique and exciting features. You can load balance inboard traffic, not only between internal servers but also against all available WAN links, providing more bandwidth the your hosted services and protecting against link failure. The Multilink feature on the Cyclone 3000 is extended to scale up to 50 Internet connections.
