We have uploaded a new video that quickly shows how to configure the APN settings in the Telecom FM Dataroute 3G Router. It only takes a few minutes to get connected to high speed mobile broadband with teh Telecom FM Dataroute.

Here are the simple steps required to start suring the web in a few minutes.

• Insert mobile broadband SIM card into the Dataroute 3G Router
• Set PC to DHCP so that it will request an IP address from the router
• Connect PC using Ethernet Cable
• Switch on Dataroute router and wait for your computer to receive an IP address
• Open web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc) and enter the router IP address in the address bar http://192.168.1.1
• The default user name and password is admin / admin
• Follow the video guide CLICK HERE to set your SIM card APN and you should now be connected to the internet using your mobile broadband SIM card and the Telecom FM Dataroute.

The Dataroute is quick and easy to configure and provides a reliable mobile broadband service for home or business users and also includes a Ping Reboot feature that will reboot the router if the mobile broadband network connection gets dropped.  It is quite common for 3G devices to be disconnected by the 3G networks which is why 3G router manufacturers have to include features like Ping Reboot especially when the router is going to be used for remote monitoring and management applications like CCTV and Digital Signage.
