The Option Globesurfer X1 lets you plug in your 3G USB Modem and share your mobile broadband internet connection with other users either via the built-in 802.11 b/g WiFi or via the two Ethernet ports on the back of the unit. The Globesurfer X1 also features an additional USB port for file or print server.
The Globesurfer X1 works as a standard LAN router to act as a central hub to connect multiple PC’s with or without the 3G USB Modem connected and represents great value. The Globesurfer X1 looks great and it’s small size means it will not be cluttering up your home or office.
The Option Globesurfer X1 works with most mainstream 3G USB Modems including Option’s own ICON range of 3G modems including the ICON XY, ICON 505 and the new ICON 711 which is a 21Mbps HSPA Plus USB Modem.
