GSM Gateways – FCT Fixed cellular terminals (Premicells) and GSM gateways have traditionally been used for saving money on calls to mobile phone networks. The FCT / GSM gateway connects to a telephone system / PBX and uses a standard mobile phone SIM card to make calls directly over the mobile phone network. The tariffs available from mobile phone companies make calling mobile phones on all networks very cost effective.
A more common application of GSM Gateway and Fixed cellular Terminals is to use them for Moile Extension applications. Most new phone systems have Mobile Extension (Mobex) capability built in, which means that the phone system will deliver incomming calls to the internal extension telephone, as well as making a call to the twinned mobile phone number, and deliver the call to whichever handset answers first. However, becuase the phone system is making a call to the mobile phone it is using up an extra telephone line, and incuring call charges for the duration of the call. By using a GSM Gateway or Fixed Cellular Terminal, the PBX can route the mobile extension calls via the Mobile Phone Network, and by using a tariff that enable free calls between userson the same plan, the diverted part of the mobile extension call will be free, of course there will just be the small monthly rental charge for the extra SIM card.

Telecom FM Cellroute GPRS - Single Line analogue fixed cellular terminal – This GSM Gateway works with SIM cards from O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Orange to provide the equivalent of a single analogue telephone line. The Cellroute GPRS GSM Gateway connects to your telephone system analogue trunk port in the same way as adding an extra PSTN phone line. Just like a phone line, you can also connect a standard analogue telephone to the cellroute and make calls using the GSM network – ideal for taxi phone, lift phone or doo phone applications that would normally require a phone line but want the convenience of using mobile phone networks or stand alone office phones or as an alternative to a GSM desk Phone where a particular phone feature is required that is only available on a standard analogue phone. The Cellroute GPRS includes built-in battery back up so will continue to work in the event of a power failure.
Telecom FM Cellroute AC - Single SIM Fixed Cellular Terminal for connection to the analogue trunk port of a PBX Phone System or a stand alone analogue telephone – similar to the Cellroute GPRS but NO Data and NO battery back up.
Telecom FM GSM Desk Phones. The Telecom FM 3G Desktop Phone are GSM Desk Phones that use a standard mobile phone SIM card to allow the user to make and receive calls over the GSM Mobile Phone Network. A GSM Desk Phone is a convenient business tool allowing a user to make calls over the mobile phone phone network, but with an easy to use and familiar two piece desk phone. It is ideal for use in temporary, mobile or remote offices where no traditional landline is available. The Telecom FM GSM Desk Phone will work with all UK mobile phone networks.
Telecom FM Cellfax Plus is a single SIM analogue GSM Fixed Cellular Terminal – it provides connectivity for standard analogue telephones and Fax machines and can also be connected to the analogue trunk port of a PBX. The Cellfax Plus GSM Fax Terminal includes a battery back up and is widely used to provide a wireless landline alternative to a standard PSTN telephone line. A typical example of it’s use is for temporary, remote or mobile offices such as construction site offices.

Cellroute 3G – The Cellroute 3G is a 3G GSM Gateway. The 3G Cellroute is a single SIM, analogue fixed cellular terminal that uses a 3G SIM card. The Cellroute 3G terminal is ideal for connection to the analogue trunk of a PBX to enable calls over the 3G network.
