The Polycom SoundStation 2 Basic is the entry level product in the Polycom Soundstation Conference Phone Range. The Polycom Soundstation 2 Basic uses Polycom's industry leading full duplex for natural, simultaneous two-way conversation.  The Polycom SoundStation2 Basic will exceed your expectations in medium to small conference rooms. Delivering remarkable voice quality equal to the SoundStation Premier® and a 50% increase in microphone sensitivity over the award-winning SoundStation®, users can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly up to ten feet away – making every call a more productive call.

The Polycom Soundstation 2 Basic Conference Phone is suitable for use in a small meeting room and ideal for up to 8 users.  The Polycom Soundstation 2 Basic conference phone connects to an analogue extension from a phone system or to an analogue PSTN telephone line.  Multi-Party calls / Conference Calls / Three-Way Calling are functions of the telephone line and/or the phone system and the Polycom Soundstation 2 Basic should be used in conjunction with the instructions for the phone system or telephone line when making calls.
