TAXI PHONE


A common application for the DPH500 GSM Desk Phone is for use as a TAXI PHONE. Taxi companies install the DOH500 Taxi Phone in a location where potential customers might require a Taxi. The customer simply lifts the handset and the Taxi Phone automatically dials the dispatch office and the customer can book a taxi. The DPH500 used as a Taxi Phone can be deployed in restaurants, pubs, clubs, airports, hotels, businesses, offices, casinos, bingo halls, cinemas, entertainment venues, hospitals, railway stations, bus stations, sports venues, supermarkets, universities and colleges.

To set the DPH500 up as a Taxi Phone you can set the phone in Hot Dial Mode and this makes the telephone dial a single preset number as soon as the user lifts the handset. When the DPH500 is in Hot Dial mode the phone restricts users from calling any other telephone numbers and many Taxi companies use the Taxi Phone in conjunction with a Fixed Dial SIM card so that they can be certain that there will be no misuse of the phone or SIM card.
