The Telecom FM GSM Route BRI is a Dual SIM ISDN GSm Gateway that is designed for connection the the ISDN ports of a telephone system. The GSMRoute BRI holds 2 mobile phone SIM cards so once the SIM cards have been inserted, the antennas connected and the power switched on it provides the equivalent of a standard ISDN2e telephone line - ie 2 channels, with a single RJ45 connection to the ISDN2e trunk of a PBX.

The Telecom FM GSm Route BRI also has the advantage of being able to be connected in-line between the PBX and ISDN phone line to provide automatic routing of calls to the GSM channels or pass through the call to the ISDN phone line.

A Digital Way to GSM Networks

The Ateus® ISDN BRI GSM gateways provide a cost-effective solution for small and medium companies with a high proportion of calls from and to GSM networks. All calls established from a fixed line to GSM networks and backwards are routed through this GSM gateway and expensive calls from PSTN to GSM networks are avoided. Thanks to the powerful and efficient LCR (Least Cost Router) the gateway always selects the cheapest route for any call. The calls are routed according to prefixes of GSM providers, free minutes on SIM cards, etc. New eGPRS (EDGE) technology! The recently launched ISDN BRI GSM gateway Enterprise is capable of data transfer as GPRS and eGPRS (EDGE) technologies are supported. The gateway can serve as a back-up connection to the Internet. As the USB 1.1 port is implemented, this part of the gateway restricts in no way the speed of data transfer. Moreover, it is no longer necessary for your PC to contain an RS232 interface for complete administration.

Other features: The Ateus® ISDN BRI GSM gateways with 2 BRI ISDN ports can be connected between the PSTN and your PBX all this without the need to provide an additional BRI ISDN connection or re-program the PBX. With the digital connection you can profit from other up-to-date features, e.g. Dynamic CLIP Routing. The ISDN BRI GSM gateways enable all LAN users to send and receive SMS with the 2N network application the Ateus® SMS server. The delivery status of any message can be obtained automatically.
